Site Activity and Program Delivery
Plants and Blooms ReImagined facilitates site activities and programs in partnership with agency and organization service providers, engaging participants of all ages and abilities in accessible educational and therapeutic horticultural experiences. Plants and Blooms ReImagined assists sites in determining if one-time activities or an established program is best in meeting the needs of those they serve.
An additional service Plants and Blooms ReImagined provides in working with service providers is the facilitation of presentations and workshops as a means of growing greater awareness, appreciation, and application of evidence-based people-plant connections/horticultural therapy, where indoor plants and flowers are a central, in achieving enhanced wellness.
Plants and Blooms ReImagined coordinates pick-up of surplus and/or end-of-market cut-flowers and floral greenery from growers, florists, floral arrangers, grocery and farmer's markets. Have blooms to donate?
Plants and Blooms ReImagined provides a timely and efficient same day (or next day) pickup of post-event flowers with at least two-week notification. Pick-up will occur immediately following to a maximum of 30 minutes post-event. To ensure the most efficient recovery possible, please complete this form.
Indoor Plant Recovery, Repurposing and Gifting
Plants and Blooms ReImagined also provides a unique recovery operation for healthy donated indoor plants (resulting primarily from relocations and downsizing) in the DMV that are similarly gifted as flower bouquets, and additionally to service providers to create increased welcoming, nurturing and productive environments for both staffs and those they serve. Plants and Blooms ReImagined seeks and enjoys relationships with individuals and businesses committed to socially and environmentally conscious end-of-use practices for post-event arrangements, gleaned surplus and end-of-market cut-flowers in realizing their fullest expression for recreating or creating beautiful new bouquets that are delivered to various communities throughout the DMV.
Presentations and Community Outreach
Plants and Blooms ReImagined presents at local and national symposia and conferences. It is also frequently at various community events – festivals, health fairs, community garden celebrations, agency events, activation events, and more amplifying the presence and power of indoor plants and flowers through direct giveaways or through more interactive engagement via plant care demonstrations, flower arranging, and other relevant activities and presentations.
